Dr Claire Douglas joined Skin Cancer Doctors in March 2023. She is a vocationally registered General Practitioner with a special interest in skin cancer diagnosis and management.
Claire completed her medical degree in 2001 and was a highly sought-after General practitioner in Whangārei for over fifteen years. Prior to joining Skin Cancer Doctors, Claire worked at Skin Institute providing skin checks and skin cancer management services. Claire also works part time at Canopy Cancer Care.
Dr Claire has completed advanced certificates in skin cancer medicine and dermoscopy and is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. Claire is appreciated for her compassionate approach and client centered care, making sure clients are comfortable and that their concerns are fully addressed.
Please note that Claire is not yet affiliated with Southern Cross, however members can pay and claim back using their skin lesion benefit.
